So the issue here was only that the server with the fileshare is Unix based? Cause i have problems with NAS, and i have not been able to solve it, im just asking to try the steps provided in the first post. Regards

As Far as i know there is no "fix" to this error when attempting to communicate with a nas share as its a limitation with asp .net and windows, The error ended up not being specific to unix but any network share.  Our solution was to utilize DFS to replicate the files amongst the frontend servers, which allows for asyncronous replication, and also utilize a caching utility provided by powerdnn.
