Hi,

I need to be able to retrieve the user id to know whether or not someone is logged in (If they click a certain button and they're logged in they need to be redirected to somewhere different than if they're not logged in)

Is there some way to do this, if so, how?

I read somewhere that you can use this.UserId, but when I tried going...

<script type="text/javascript">

his.UserId );

</script>

I got a message saying "undefined" meaning it didn't work.

Any ideas of how to get this to work or of other ways to find out their UserId?

Thanks,

Matt

it's a server held value so you use code such as

Dim objUser As UserInfo = UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo

you can then access any of the userinfo properties such as objUser.userid
