Hi,

For a number of reasons I'd like to configure DNN and the FCK editor to utilise custom directories for individual registered users.

When uploading an image in FCK It would be great if each user's images get uploaded to their own directory that way they would not be able

to view or select other users images.

This would be particularly important to achieve with the blogs module, but also would be very handy for all file uploads.

Has anyone tried this before/does anyone have a solution ? I've struggled to find similar requests on this and other forums and

I can't believe nobody's had the need to isolate individual user-uploaded content before.

there are a couple of 3rd party modules for this purpose, but not for integration with FCKEditor AFAIK. The only workaround is to manually create an upload folder per upload user (assuming this to be a limited number) and grant read/write permission for it to this user.

If what you really want is user pages, take a look at Smart-Thinker's UserProfile and related modules, ActiveSocial from ActiveModules, and the Venexus modules.
