I used the code mentioned here at the an gle website.  It (for the most part works) a few things to note though:

  • Need to specify/reconfigure the gallery settings inside the forum for the 2 to talk to each other (not a hard task)  What I did was create folders/albums for gForumImage, gForumAvatar, gSystemAvatar, etc.
  • Avatar's seem to only work under the "Admin Setting" section in the forum.  Otherwise, when a user tries to select/upload an avatar it does NOT get displayed.  It seems to upload just fine, I can verify that the avatar is in the "ForumAvatar" folder I specified however it doesn't get displayed.  Not only does it not get displayed, it doesn't even "stick" in the text field under User Settings.  Maybe this is a "Forums" issue not sure.  I can manually add the avatar image to the table and it stucks but does not stick via the "My Settings" option.  Anyone have any ideas?  If you have gotten it working please let me know.  I am a .net programmer so telling me which code to replace or fix would help a lot.

Thanks and Great work An gle btw.  Glad it's working I love my gallery.
