Is there a way to create a unique page for each individual user? ie. with an HTML module on it?  So that users can make notes to themselves/notes during class.. on it?

For example.. when user1 clicks on "Notes" he is taken to his own page that only he can see with an editable HTML module with FCKeditor on it.

When user2 clicks on "Notes" he is taken to a different page that only he can see with an editable blank HTML module with FCKeditor on it.

Try the social network modules from Smart-Thinker, ActiveModules, and Venexus.  You might be able to configure to do what you want.

If you are trying to roll up your own module, then you would need to do some work.

Create a module say NotesModule. Have a database table say Notes. Keep 2 fields in it, (UserId int, Notes nvarchar(MAX))

Then use the dnn:RichText control to accomplish what you are saying. This is just an outline of the process.
