trying to build a login skin object that instead of having a link actually has the username and password boxes in it untill logged in

This has turned out to be a bit harder than i thought

If i inherit the AuthenticationLoginBase then is doesnt show up as a skin object

and if i inherit the SkinObject base i cant access some of the things from the AuthenticationLoginBase i think i need

Is there a simple solution on this?

Okay going t expand - i copied over Login.aspx and login.aspx.vb from the authentication part of a default install (5.00 DNN version) now i want to turn the control into a skin object

first thing i did was remove Inherits AuthenticationLoginBase and add inherits Dotnetnuke.ui.skins.skinobjectbase

this broke the cmd_login click event becuase onuserauthenticated is cant be found - what do i need to instantate or do to get a skin object act like the login module/control????
