Hi All,

We just recently upgraded from DNN v4.8.4 to v4.9.1.  In the process it appears that the FCKEditor has changed.  We're now seeing stuff like this:

N/A

The problem is that it's using the page background information for the background of the text area of the FCK editor.  But we want the background to be white--the module background is always going to be white.

How do we change this back so we can get the DNN v4.8.4 behavior?

It looks like the FCK Editor is importing the following stylesheets for the rich text preview:

  • default.css
  • skin.css
  • portal.css

So, if that background of your FCK Editor has changed, that's probably from your skin defining a background color/image for the body element.  If you change that to only apply to the body of the main DNN page (which has an id of "Body"), I would think it should at least start to address the issue.

So, in your skin.css, change body {...} to body#Body {...}

Hope it helps,
