Hi,

I'm running my server www.fiberworks.com. Unfortunaltly my "DNN Expert" made a forward to www.fiberworks.com/dnn. My page shows now alway .../dnn/.... How can I eleminate the .../dnn/.. from the Url?
Can somebody help.

If you are on shared hosting, maybe ask your provider to set the home directory to /dnn instead of /.

If you can't do that, ask your DNN guy to move all your DNN files one level up.

Keep in mind there will be changes needed when the files are moved up a folder, at least to the portal alias.  Easiest is to add the new portal alias before moving the files.

Thank you for your anser.

I have root access.

If I move all the DNN Files to a different folder, do I need to change the web.config?

DNN is installed in \dotnetnuke.

The IIS main direktory is \Inetpub\wwwroot\dnn.

If I change the home dir of ISS to dnn – nothing works anymore.
