I know this may be a silly question but can DNN be installed on an XP Home system.  I'm currently running a PHP NUKE site and have my personal PC set up as the development platform.  I'm thinking that IIS isn't available on the XP home system so....DNN probably wont run...

Any insight or ideas?

I'm using VWDe and msSSe so hopefully that will work.  I've tried installing but having configuration errors.

For those who are beginners like me.  Look here for the free development tools http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/

That is because IIS (which is the webserver)  is not included with XP Home.

What it boils down to is that you need IIS to run on XP Home.  I did a quick search and came up with this tutorial; http://www.15seconds.com/issue/020118.htm.

Once you get that working installing DNN with msde or sql server lite 2005, or access should be a cinch.
