Good day (evening)! I Need help. Hoe can i insert image using CSS stylesheets? My situation looks like something ..... Portals/Skins/ -myskin -----images folder -----testskin.ascx -----testskin.htm -----style.css The code from CSS .somestyle { background: url('/images/bg_tick.jpg') no-repeat; } I use VS 2008. In Desinger mode i can see that image, but having parsed and applied my skin, image disappears. - this code works without any problem. Thanks.

urls in css files are relative. if you remove the first slash  "/" in the url i think it will work

This trouble with images looks like real nightmare - so LITTLE problem)))

What does this mean?

 Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Skins.EditSkins.ShowSkins() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Skins.EditSkins.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Nothing changes after i've delete slash "/". I can't understand - when i choose in VS 2008 "View in browser" (static HTML) image displayed.

Are you able to take a screen shot of your folder structure where you place your skin template files.

So we can have a look if the path is correctly defined in your css
