Hi all, I have a dnn 4.9 portal that i would like to move to a dnn 5.0 machine.  Is this possible?  Both servers are in our intranet environment. The 4.9 machine was for testing purposes and the 5.0 machine is being built for eventual production.   Both dnn 4.9 and 5.0 databases are on the same dedicated SQL 2005 server.  I have just a couple of portals i would like to move from 4.9 to 5.0.  Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

This is an old post. Assuming this didn't get resolved I think the best answer now is to upgrade both 5.1.1 when it comes out. Then you should be able to export/import with ease. Don't forget to back up.

Why do you unbury old posts - I am not sure, if the user is still waiting for a reply.

Anyhow, every dnn installation ona a single web server can be upgraded independently w/o issues.
