How do I disable the email notifications when changing a user's password? I don't want any mails to be send to a user when editing a user.

You didn't mention your version of DNN but I don't believe any version has a configuration option to disable the "your account / profile has been updated" email when the user's password is changed through the DNN UI.  You'll probably have to either create/use an appropriate thrid-party tool to change passwords or else modify DNN code.

this is really annoying. I recently changed some passwords on our DEV server so I could use the user accounts for test purposes and the users all got sent emails! As annoying as anything was that the user got sent a 'password reminder' email with the new password I had used for the DEV account. So the users of the live site got more than a little confused.. The workaround is to log in as host and remove the SMTP server settings before changing passwords. Too bad I had to find this out the hard way though. How about a flag to enable this feature whereby it is disabled by default which would have been the intelligent method from the start.? gus
