I developed a DNN 4.09.01 site on local machine and created a template, exported it to brand new clean install of 4.09.01 on the webhost (Webhost4life.com). Everything went fine and the site seemed to work until I added a new page, saved the settings and it created the page as expected. I went to change the page settings to point to a link, clicked update and no errors showed but it did not update the page. I tried several things like changing the description field, the skin, it updates but no changes are shown even when I go back into edit the page all my changes have disappeared or reverted back to the ones on page creation. I then added a module and tried to change the container settings for that module, again same problem, updating message, no errors but no changes.

The only way I can get around some of it is that I delete the page, and recreate it (But I must make sure there are no mistakes as after I cannot edit them) but also I cannot change any settings for the module containers as they simply do not save?

Can anyone tell me how to solve or debug this?

The only thing showing in the Event Viewer is:

EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
Body:
Sender:
BusinessControllerClass: DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Media
DesktopModuleId: 60
UpgradeVersionsList: 03.02.00,03.02.03
ExceptionMessage: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Server Name: DEDI524

BUT this is not when I try to edit the page. I just tried again to edit an exisiting page (Change page link or evevn the description) and now get the following message box:

Sys.Webforms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 404

Any ideas?

The question marks in the RAWurl are because its Arabic text.

the 404 error is generated by MS Ajax, I would check and ensure that you have it installed. If it is installed, I'd check to ensure that you copied across all the files when you did your install.
