Is there a way to just indicate that a date has a event, and then link to an other page? I.e. I have an events module in my sites first page that has an other module included as a subcalendar. I would just like to have the first calendar to indicate events with for an example bold numbers in the date instead of the title of the event.

Is that possible?

Take a look att www2.smtf.se, the first calendare is displayed on all pages except the page for the second calendar which is placed on  the "Aktiviteter" page. I have made a new "skin" for the first calendar as well.

Best Regards

Jari Ivanoff

Hi Jari,

Check the 'Disable Month View Cell Events' option in the module settings (in the Month section). This will disable the titles, and like you to a list based day view of events. It won't link you to a single event detail page, because a single day could potentially have more than one event.

Cheers
Roger

Okay, thanks... Almost what I want!

Is there a way to link it to the originating calendar that resides on an other page?

A list of the actual day works fine...

Another weird problem: The links in the days with events works when I am logged in and in Edit Mode but not when I am logged out or in Show Mode when I use Firefox.

Hi Jari,

No it doesn't link to the original calendar. In the 4.1.x beta releases there is functionality that allows the day view to open in a new page though, which may be what you are after.

For the firefox problem, what version of DNN and the Events module are you using?

Thanks
Roger

Okay, when I try the "open in new page" function it opens on the same page, in the same contentpane ( when using IE7 ).
So it is set to Open Event in New Page.
Take a look for Yourself at: http://www2.smtf.se which is the temporary site for development.

The Firefoxproblem is solved, it was problems with the skin that made the links "unclickable"

/Jari
