Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.09.02

Current Database Version: 04.09.00

Upgrade Status Report

00:00:00.015 - Upgrading to Version: 4.9.2
00:00:00.015 - Performing General Upgrades

______________

Then it says upgrade complete.. click here to view your portal.... and if I "click here to view your portal"  it just loops back to the install.

Any reason why the database wouldn't update?

I have human friendly url's enabled and something in Host Header (<add key="HostHeader" value="/directory" />)

<add key="RemoveAngleBrackets" value="true" />

This shouldn't've affected the DB update though

 I assume, that the database has been upgraded successfully, check out the log files inside /providers/dataproviders/sqlsdataprovider folder, if they are empty (2 bstes of size), upgrade went smoothly.

To get redirected to the install page might be caused by the URL redirection, you might try to call your homepage directly or disable autoupgrade inside your web.config.

My problem is that of a permanent redirect as also mentioned here:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/289312/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Someone in the thread above said that they had to run the SQL updates manually... anyone know how to do that?

 Hi, I'm having the same issue of it looping to "Upgrading to Version: 4.9.2 and Peforming General Upgrades" and i'm pretty sure that it didn't complete the upgrade because i'm upgrading from 4.8.1 and i think somewhere between then and 4.9.2 there were tables added (like WebServers table). I tried changing the web.config autoupgrade to false but then i just get "An error has occurred" message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
