Hey is it illegal to sell a system based on or containing pieces of dotnetnuke without telling the customer?
Is there a way to contact Perpetual Motion? for licencing issues like these?

Please contact me at: yoenuts@hotmail.com

I believe that DNN is distributed under the BSD license and can rebranded and sold as a different application as long as the DotNetNuke info is left in the source code.

A Core Team member can most likely help you with the fine print.

DotNetNuke is published using the BSD Licence, read the conditions at the bottom of this page. Please notice, that this does not include free usage of DNN Logo and Trademark.

Thankx for your replies. I found out because I encountered the dotnetnuke error page. Then I downloaded the cms and tried to open some files. It turned out it is used. After posting I found the license.
