Hi Folks,

I have a site that has been completly rebuilt and I want to create 301 redirects so I do not lose any Google indexing.

The pages that Google would have will no longer exist when we move over to the new site so I need to be able to redirect pages that will no longer exist to the new pages.

Basically I want to redirect

http://www.somedomain.com/ContactUs/tabid/96/Default.aspx

to

http://www.somedomain.com/Contact/tabid/30/Default.aspx

As I have about 30 redirects to create I am looking for is a simple way to get this done, without having to get involved with complicated RegEx expressions

Does anyone know of a module or method that would help me.

Many thanks in advance for any help given.

Tony

DNN 492 has the ability to do this, if you have both of those pages created you can edit the one you no longer want and point it to the tabid 30, and configure the 301 redirect option, this is all handled in the page settings.

You can also achieve this with Url Master regardless of DNN version.

Here is more on 301 redirects.
