Just wondering if I am able to just use the upgrade package or do I have to use the full install? This is going to be my first time doing a version upgrade on DNN so thats why I am making sure I use the right pack. Also, is there a tutorial or guide on this?

Hmmm why would you recommend waiting on 5.0.1? Wait until they get rid of early bugs? Well i just installed it and it went well except for the SQLDP for 5.0 didn't upgrade. Something about a duplicate key. Checking that out. Thanks for the reply.

5.0.0 has many known bugs that are fixed in 5.0.1.   See a list of some notable bugs here:

I am going to upgrade from 4.09.01 to 5.01. I am using the 4.09.01souce code and have my own module/development on it. I think I need to upgrade this souce code site and continues to do the development. How to upgrade it? Can I copy the 5.01 Upgrade Package to overwrite the 4.09.01souce code? and then copy the Library from the 5.01source.
