Hi i have just install dotnetnuke 4.2

My server is running windows 2003

sql server 2005

When i installed dnn it all went well after i sorted a few permissions the first main screen came up with the admin and host login details, so i logged in as the host and went into accounts to change the password and as soon as i try to untick any of the address box's the server crashes.

any ideas why??

Thanks

Simon

Crashes - can you be more specific? Hangs and does nothing, comes up with error, kills browser?

I wonder if you still have more permissions issues since it won't take the updating of the passwords.

Sounds like you're nearly there but not quite.

Hi Nina,

Thanks for the reply,

The server actualley goes to a blue screen and restarts, its never done this till i put dnn on it

the blue screen error is teefer.sys

i noticed it did it when i unchecked the country box and the actual loading of the web pages seemed really slow i have about 15 websites running on it and they all work great, so maybe something needs changing but i can seem to find any problems.

Thank

Simon

Oh Simon thank you for posting this - because I wasn't sure but I know that if others have a similar problem, there is some history on it now.

Bet you are glad it's working!
