Hi,

I need to change the layout of the login module. Is this possible and will it affect all the portals in my site?

Yes, you can change it, but it would change for all portals on the site.

The files for it are in /DesktopModules/AuthenticationServices/DNN for all versions 4.7.0 and later

Hi,

I managed to move the login boxes but I can't find what controls the location of the remeber login, forgot password and register buttons.

Can anyone help on that front.

 Hi Nolan,

Mitch pointed you to the authentication controls that are external to the DotNetNuke core and are safely configurable (though I would suggest copying the DNN directory into your own custom authentication provider and making your modifications that way).  For functionality that is central to the DotNetNuke UI (such as the "remember me" checkbox), take a look at the /admin/Authentication/Login.ascx control.

You might also consider a third-party module that allows configuration via the UI.  I know there are several solid choices available, but I do not have any direct experience with any.  I'm sure others could help on that front.

Good luck!

Brandon

I'm with Brandon. Instead of messing with the core, take a look at Dynamic Login by Datasprings. Solid module.
