Hey Guys,

I'm running DDN 4.09.02.

I usually use the host account when working on my site, but I now have a sub admin that will be using an Administrator account. The problem I am having is that this administrator seems to be unable to upload images.

For example, we have an Text/HTML module on a page. He edits the page and Select the Image icon in the editor. Clicks Browse Server, and all he get's is a empty box with a "/" sign. It's as if he doesn't have permissions to see the portal files. So I checked the permissions for the Administrators role and it does indeed have permissions. If he goes into the Admin File Manager he can see all the files and sub directories no problem.

Any hints on what I am missing?

Many thanks

Hi,

I too am having an issue with uploading files....I've upgraded my portal to 4.9.2 from 4.90 and since then none of my site admins have been able to upload any type of files.  They were before the upgrade to 492.  The file folders exist with correct permissions and the file extensions have been approved, yet when they try to upload any file via the file manager they get an error saying they don't have permission to upload this file, please check with your host.

I've checked the event log an there doesn't appear to be an error be logged there....

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread...it seemed like are issue is very similiar.

Hopefully someone has an idea/tip that can help.

Thanks

Jerry

Did you you check your sub-folders in the file manager?  Is the ADMIN role checked for read/write?  If so, it sounds like you having a similiar problem like mine

Jerry
