I'm seeing an issue where gray.css (theme css) is not being included to anonymous users (but is included for logged-in users, at least admin).

I'm on DNN 5.0.1, Events module 4.0.2

In a new portal, I've added two instances of the Events module to a page.  One is a calendar view, the second is a list view with a sub-calendar display of the other module.  Both modules are set to the same theme, Gray.

When I'm logged in, I see the Gray theme, but if I log out, I get the undecorated table.  Looking at the site with Firebug, I see that the table headers are styled in Gray.css when I'm logged in, but that stylesheet isn't emitted when I'm not logged in.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Tim

One additional detail:  I have the cache for both modules set to 1200 seconds.  It looks like when I refresh the module, it will display with the CSS one time, but not on subsequent displays.

Moving the two modules to two different pages didn't seem to matter--the module would show correctly once to an unauthenticated user, then the next page display would be the undecorated table.

Should I put this in Gemeni?

Tim

Hi Tim,

OK, I can replicate this. I'll try to identify if it is an Events module problem, or a DNN problem. If you set your caching to 0, it will display correctly.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Tim,

I've tried to do some testing against older versions of DNN, and I have to say it is a bit of a disaster. As soon as I change the cache to 1200, and log out, it then loops. As in it keeps trying to re-load the module.

I have to say that this feels like a DNN problem rather than an Events module problem, but I can't say for sure. My recommendation is to set the cache to 0, and I'll continue to try and figure this out, but I don't think it is a quick fix.

Cheers
Roger
