I have just joined with Webhost4life.com as my hosting provider and successfully installed DNN 4.02 onto their system. I then asked them what I could do to then start building web pages and they indicated to me that I should log in as a host account and use host as a password. This obviously does not work as I dont know the log in Id of the host provider.....please guide me on how to start building webpages. I have everything set up and ready to go just need a little more instruction.

host / host is the default password when installed.

You should be able to log in with that account - dont' forget to change it or others might be editing your site!! without your permission!

Also, there is tons of information in the docs on how to start adding pages and placing modules on the pages--and the docs are much better than they were a year ago--so I would recommend you spend some time reading them.  They explain how to add pages, how to place modules on the pages, and how to add 3rd party modules also...

They also explain the process of skinning, and creating skin files, etc..  If you're a beginner though, I recommend purchasing a skin instead of trying to create one yourself.  Nina above, has a ton of excellent skins that are very affordable.  You can also go to www.snowcovered.com and find a bunch of skins and inexpensive modules to purchase.  Hope this helps.
