Is there a way to add an URL to a list item? I mean, apart from file, summary, description, .... I'd like to be able to enter an URL for "more info" of some instance I'm building. Is that possible?
When viewing the item this url should be a link to whatever place the user entered.

Vicenc,
In the current release, you only have those options ... entering a URL in the summary or description text via the text editor. In a future release ( probably June / July ) we'll be adding user-defined fields, so at that time you will be able to define a URL field for your repository.

On second thought ... Take a look at the new 'article' template that is bundled with 3.01.09. It displays the summary field and a 'read article' link which displays the description field when clicked. All you'd have to do is enter a URL in the description field, then modify the javascript in the header.html file to redirect to that URL.

Steve,
the problem is I need the summary and description too. Actuall I'm using a modified "articles" template.
What I tried is adding the [URL] tag to the form template then on the template.html I added:
<a href="[FILEURL]" target="_blank"><img border=0 src="[TEMPLATEIMAGEFOLDER]link.gif"> [FILEURL]</a>

If I enter a valid url (http:/...) in that field seems to work ok. Is that safe?

Yes, that's perfectly safe. In fact, that's very close to what the older versions of the repository used to provide when you could use the 'file' field for either a physical file or a link.
