Hi , i'm installing a dot net nuke on win xp pro sp2 . in visual web developer it works fine, but when i publish the folder in iis it retur me this error .

what can i do ?

What is your IIS configuration for this vDirectory? Permissions?

the folder is "everyone" w/r ready ! all the default settings are applyed.
i've only changed default.aspx as default page and activated asp 2.0.

 

another thing : sometimes i've this error too :
after a reboot all work ok , but for one or another one problem, i never say ddn work in iis

 

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Documents and Settings\diego\Documenti\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\DotNetNuke\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

this second error comes up sometimes. the first ... alwais...

but all those, only with iis ( 5.1 ) ... in visual web developer debug mode all works fine....
