Hi!

I have site which is still in developing stage on which I have a problem...  Site works fine but after some period of time, about half hour in Internet Explorer I get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" information and in Firefox similar message.

What can be the problem here? Maybe some configuration in IIS about cookies or cache on DNN configuration?

I have DNN 4.9.

Thanks, Ivan

please check Web Server Event Log and DotNetNuke eventlog for associated errors and post error details, if additional help needed.

Event log doesn't contain information about that.

I now realised that this error occures because it has bad url. My URL repeats: For example:

http://site.net/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fDefault.aspx%3fTabID%3d209ReturnUrl3d%252f

Default.aspx%253fTabID%253d209ReturnUrl%253d%25252fDefault.aspx%25253f

TabID%25253d209ReturnUrl%25253d%2525252fDefault.aspx%2525253fTabID%2525253d209

ReturnUrl%2525253d%252525252fDefault.aspx%252525253f

TabId%252525253d74%2525252526language%252525253den-US.........  and url goes on...

You can see that I have ReturnUrl value in url. What does this mean?

The website works normal if I reopen it in browser.

Thanks, Ivan

This is a session timeout. Sounds like a problem with your login page, which another post suggests is a custom page you've created.

ReturnURL is used when the site tries to redirect you to a login page, after which it returns to the page you were trying to access. You are trying to access a page not visible to the unauthenticated user after your session has timed out. DNN wants you to log in again. For some reason it's not reaching the login screen to allow this.

Be careful to ensure that your permissions on the login page are allowing unauthenticated users. I don't think that's the problem because you'd never be able to log in, but it's a good place to start.
