In my code behind, I often will hide my module if there is no content or for other reasons where it is beneficial.

However, I am having trouble trying to do the same things for a skin object I created.
I basically don't want to use server side controls because its easier not having to pass clientIDs to my javascript and css..........

...nevermind just figure it out while typing this.
the ASP:placeholder dobject doesn't use any html markup, so I can just wrap the whole thing in a placeholder object and set its visible property.
on or off it doesn't leave any extra html that I have now.
