The Web site owner as well as a number of visitors who have contacted us using drop downs for "navigation" tend to expect that making the selection makes the action happen, i.e. directlyh navigate to that page instead of having to click on the "Go" link as a SECOND step.  I understand the GO Link is there because when an administrator is editing the control they need a way to "select" an item and not go anywhere while they work on its properties.

Unfortunately I need to override this or somehow use the Text/HTML module to make a manual drop down list with javascript.  I envision a properties page which does set up ALL the links there rather than on the page itself.

Any clues as to how I can go about this or if there is a way to disable GO now (I can always turn it baqck on while I am editing a new list)

Thanks!
