I built a web site in my localhost and tested it and it worked very well. And I wanted to host it in a local server and moved the files to the files to the server and I syncronized the database also.I tested in my local machine by making a virtual folder in IIS and I have named it as "newkickmobile" and the folder name of the project is also newkickmobile.

But when I move it to the server I created a folder call kickmobile and paste all the files and folders into it and I made a virtual website using IIS and I named it as kickmobile. but when I run the web site which I hosted in the server it still redirects to the URL  called http://localhost/newkickmobile.

Can someone tells me why this is happeing and how can I work my site out.

Thank you!

you need to add the new site address as additional portal alias - either before moving using UI in Host :: Portals (at the bottom of the site settings page) or directly in the database, table portalAlias.
