I have downloaded all available modules and installed them, but the Events Module is missing from the dropdown. So I downloaded and tried to re-install the Module, but it said the package was already installed. I then repaired the installation, and it reinstalled the module successfully, but it still didn't appear in the dropdown. The module appears on the Modules Definition pages though. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Once I re-installed 4.00.02 of the events module, I noticed that it was now available under Admin -> Extensions. I added this module and got an error about not haveing a default language (That's another issue, as there is no language to select from in the drop down in the Admin section). However, upon logging off and logging back in, the Events module appeared in the drop-down. I added it to my page and tried to set up my first event. I only added a data and time and title, and was greeted by the following error:

Error: is currently unavailable.

Hi,

Are you saying this is version 5 of the Events module, or version 5 of DNN? If DNN, then are you using 5.0.0 or 5.0.1.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger, 5.0.0 of DNN, 4.0.2 of events module. I am blocked from downloading the 5 version from sourceforge at my current location.

I solved the issue by uninstalling the module (including deleting the files), then reinstalling it. Now if anyone can explain how to add locations and categories to the drop downs, that would be a big help! There is nothing out there on Google and I came up empty searching the forums.
