I am paying a hosting site that gave me 10MB of SQL server space, I successfully installed 1 dnn site, i purchased another domain, but since i carried it on my original plan, I was not given a 2nd MSSQL space, i uploaded the install files on the 2nd domain but used the same SQL server IP and database name, and it will not install..

I noticed that aspnet_xxxxxx provider tables are created, could this be the reason why a second installation using the same database will not run? If so, where in the core can we change the prefix of the native providers?

Are you trying to install them into the same database, or just the same SQL instance?

If you have to use the same databse, you'll need to make sure the installs are using different database qualifiers.  This will prefix all of the DNN tables, differentiating the two installs.  The aspnet tables don't need this, they're setup to support multiple installs of many different applications (even non-DNN apps).

If you're still seeing the problem, can you be more specific about where in the install process it fails and what error messages you're seeing?

I am trying to install to the same database, I couldnt recreate the problem anymore so I cant give you the specific error, the tech support from my hosting ressolved the issue by splitting the 50MB SQL space that i have to 2 SQL databases to avoid naming conflicts.

I did try different qualifiers, like dnnsite1_xxxx and dnnsite2_xxx, unfortunately it did not ressolve the installation problem, There was an error installing the database, but the tables were still created.
