Today I try to view my event viewer, and I keep getting this message instead of seeing the viewer.

I suggest to clear the current event log, which might contain scrambled entries:

  • login as superuser ("host")
  • go to SQL in Host menu
  • enter "TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}EventLog"
  • hit run
  • retry entering the event log.
