Hi, I think DNN is great and we're about to start our first commercial project in it. So I have a question that would help us alot in calculating dev times.

1. What's the best way to make dynamic forms in DNN? We need to capture information the users inputs throught the site; this would be a series of combo boxes and texts that would contain different information depending on the user's previous selections. Sort of like when a user chooses a Brand, the next combo will contain the appropiate Models, so I'm thinking UserDefinedTable doesn't seem to support this out of the box. Is there some way DNN automatically manages this, or do we have to make custom modules for this kind of stuff?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Before thinking about custom module development, I would research the variety of 3rd party form modules out there.

I would also recommend going through the available 3rd party modules.  In addition always choose with the one that can provide 110% of what you now need or atleast one with a source code option.  Otherwise you'll find that additional requirements or enhancements will be at the discretion of the vendor.

Maybe Herlferlein form is an option to you. I think you can use it for free and for me it does just what I expect from a form module.
