Ive created a page template, and I can see it in the drop down perfectly fine.  When I try to create another page based off that template, the skin doesnt seem to carry over.

Any ideas?

Looking at the code of the template page itself, its showing the correct skin.  But any new page created with it does not take on the skin *unless* I set the skin settings while creating the new page.  Are templates supposed to work that way?  I really wanted a way to create a new blank page for the site quicker than having to manually choose the default skin and container each time.

Thanks.

Admin > Appearance (about middle of the page.) > Portal Skin > Chooes the skin.

This will be your default skin when you make a new page so you don't have to select the skin EVERYTIME you create a page.

Thats not how I want it to work.

Ive created a template that works just for Press Releases.  Its basically just a window with a banner at the top, completely different than the portal skin.  When I create a Press Release article, I choose the Press Release template which *should* use the Press Release skin. If you read the Press Release template file, it DOES show the skin value correctly inside the template itself but its not aplying to the pages I created from the template.

Any ideas?
