First off... be gentle. This is my first time setting this stuff up and I need an experienced gurus help. I am having a heck of a time... :(

I have purchased a hosting account from GoDaddy - Economy Plan. I used their DNN install wizard and had it working. I then tried to install a new skin but realized I didn't have hosting access. None of the default u/n and p/w worked to access the hosting control pannel. So, with the advice of a guru I was told to delete the existing data base. Download from DotNetNuke the install package 4.9.2 and unzip it locally. Create a new database. FTP up the unzipped files to the 'dotnetnuke' folder. Return back to the URL and it should run the install.

Here is the error message I am getting:

Server Error in '/dotnetnuke' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Would someone please spend some time and help me get this fixed?

thank you!
