Help!

I have a site with a black background-color set in the body style. I've gone through all the posts on background colours. I have sucessfully set the background of my FCK editor text area back to white by settings static on the Advanced Editor options for the portal. But when I use the link gallery the background there is still black. I've gone and updated the styles.css in the Providers\HTMLEditorProviders\FCK\FCKEditor\FCKTempates\LinkBrowser\Default folder to set background-color: white; - Firebug tells me that these ARE the styles being used in the link gallery. I have cleared cache, restarted app and even stopped and started in IIS. Still the background is obstinantly black!!!

What am I missing????!!!!

Thanks for advice

Graham

I have cracked it!  There is a bug - the code for fcklinkgallery.aspx is pointing at the stylesheet (styles.css)  for the image browser  i.e. pointing at the file fcktemplates/imagebrowser/default/styles.css  instead of   fcktemplates/linkbrowser/default/styles.css.

I fixed by copying the styles from the link gallery into the image browser.  Probaly not the right way to do it, but heck, it works. Can anyone advise where the code is so I can fix it there, and I'll log this in Gemini if I can work out how...

<irony>  thanks for all the responses </irony>

 Graham, please log this bug into the public issue tracker (2nd from top) at support.dotnetnuke.com. The QA team will validate it and hand over to the FCKEditorProvider project team to get it fixed. Thank you.

You're right, it is bringing in the portal template and background image, making some of my sites un-readable.

A simple work-around is to navigate to:

Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Fck

and open the file

fcklinkgallery.aspx

I simply added a

<div style="background-color:white;">

under the <form> tag, closing it before the </form> tag. Did the job for me!
