[EDIT] Sorry.  Didn't mean to go all Nina on everyone with the 1000 page forum post but in this case I hope I was able to answer everyone's questions.

Joe, does your wife know how much you think about me?  That comment is typical and non surprising since you have publicly stated your dislike for me , but you don't pay my bills, I don't cook your dinner and think I'm a quite a bit taller than you. I believe my fan mail is more than yours at the moment.. if you get my drift.

Maybe you thinks PE stand for Pot-shot Editorial, or Poor Ethics, no it must be Professional Egomaniacs

I have supported this project in spite of the bullying tactics shown personally at Microsoft events by you about me, downright nasty comments about me personally. I do not insult you as person Joe, as it's not in my personality to really be like that, but I do have a voice, and an opinion, and experience and in general, some respect from the DNN community and you, as a director of DNN Corp Joe, it seems perculiar that you can't raise yourself above this sort of behaviour.

It's unbecoming of how DNN Corp presents themselves..  Joe - anger management classes I think is in store for you and before you bang that keyboard and mouse again in fury on the desktop because your 'community' won't obey - check out the post from your own team - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/295971/scope/posts/Default.aspx  - Are there similarities here????

And Shaun, to simply apologise for 'lack of presence' and not even acknowledge the responses by your staff / team comments here, shows an incredible confidence in self.

And for those who put their hands up and said they were unahppy - I really appreciate it - it's a PAIN when you see posts you're not even involved in, and your name is brought up in negative way and you have no way of defending yourself and it's confusing and negative for new people who come and read threads.

I'm beginning to think it's time to start a new forum for Pro edition and corp stuff so we can get on with the rest (business as usual as far as I'm concerned ).

Of course, this is a great idea. Lets move / delete all the previous posts on the subject as well. This would create the DNN time machine we've all be hoping for over the past couple years that will repair all the previous mistakes.

Actually I would certainly like to see these threads moved (not deleted) into a dedicated forum for DNN Pro. Why not?

On that note, we will be posting the Roadmap this week for 5.1. It will include information about all of the exciting functionality we are adding to Community Edition. It will also include some explanation on why some enhancements are being reserved for Professional Edition. And we will be making a conscious effort to ensure all public communications are done in a coordinated manner in the future.

Hopefully you are able to keep your timeframe...

I understand (and accept) that for PE to get significant traction it must be better than CE on a certain business aspects. I do however believe that inproving the usability in PE and not in CE (as stated in the first post wrt the admin control panel) is NOT the way to go.

I think that keeping the usability of CE up to par with other competitors (joomla, drupal, and simpler systems like: http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/01/8-free-design-platforms-to-build-your-own-site/) is instrumental for the succes of DNN.
