I have played around with the Export/Import page functions for creating and importing page templates. It works great for creating a new page. The problem is that updating the template has no effect on pages that were created before you updated the template.

I am looking for a way to base pages on a template so that when I change the template, all the pages based on it get updated. I know I can accomplish a lot of this with a skin. But I need the template to include certain modules and all their settings.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

pelase note, that a template is a template, not a master, from which decendents are inheriting. there is no inheritance implemented for content. you might need to create your own modules, which inherit settings in a different way.
