I wanted to make a simple change to the Links module: have the link description ALWAYS display underneath the link, regardless of the "display info link" setting, and without making the user click the "..." link.

Ive made the changes in the source and recompiled it, but Im not seeing my changes on the site after copying the new DLL into the bin directory.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Just a couple of quick thoughts...
Quick-and-dirty method to check for unwanted caching:  Temporarily rename the DLL and refresh the page with the Links module to see if the old DLL has gotten cached.  Renaming the DLL effectively removes it from use so you -should- get an error rather than a working Links module.

Also -- are you running the SOURCE CODE version of DNN on your target box?  If so, it's possible the source is recompiling on your target box and writing over the DLL you are manually copying to the BIN directory.

Also-also:  Restarting/recycling IIS is often a useful "debugging" step.
