Lots of people are having a similar problem. When I downloaded and ran DotNetNuke_Community_04[1].09.02_StarterKit.vsi, although I am using Visual Studio 2005, it copied some files to "Visual Web Developer" folders. I manually copied them to the corresponding VS2005 folders and it worked!! I copied the following files: 3 zip files in \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic to \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Basic 1 zip files in \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer\CSharp to \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C# 1 zip files in \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic to \MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Basic\Web Hope this Helps.

I manually copied them to the corresponding VS2005 folders and it worked!!

to
\MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C#


1 zip files in
\MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\VisualBasic
to
\MyDocuments\Visual Studio 2005\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Basic\Web
