I am new to DNN. I have created a page having IFrame in content pane and I have links on the right panel having link type file. I have already uploaded these files into a directory using links.

I want to display the link file in the IFrame on clinking the link. How do I do this?

If I am write in undrestanding your question, you will not be able to change the iframe with links in your other panes on the page. Iframe is basically a window to another web page or file.  so the only way you could achive this is by creating as many pages in your site as links you have and use the link tabs to point to these pages on your site

In Edit Iframe options under Other Options, help on Names displayes the following "

Specifies a unique name of the iframe (to use in scripts or as targets for links/iframes)

"

so how do we achieve this if DNN is specifically saying this in their help message.

The idea here is to provide you with a way to easily identify IFrame tag in javascript you may want to write. The wording in parenthesis is a usecase - a suggestion of how it may be used. But the implementation is for a developer to do.

Read that thread I've posted above - I think it has enough information to start with.

I'll be happy to provide help or explanations if you need.
