My "default" control is just a list of selections for other actions. Something like;

Edit List A

Edit List B

Edit List C

On each of those controls will be 1-n module actions that control editing lookup tables associated with the lists. Some of those lookup tables are used in multiple lists. So if you select Edit List A, and from there select the module action that directs you to an edit control for a lookup table, when you're done I want a "cancel" option that returns you to Edit List A, not the main control which is what a NavigateURL does. Now you could do an EditURL and specify the control tag for EditList A, but there is an additional problem. The same lookup table can be used on Edit List A, Edit List B, etc, so if you come from Edit List A I want to return there, and the same with edit list B.

So, on a module action how do I set it up so I can return back to the control that called it?

Hey

      we can use querystring to  resolve this, pass querystring variable like editlist.aspx?list=A check for the value of list and return to the page you want on save or cancel
