Hi All,

Iam searching options for a portal and one of the requirement is, there should be 2 home pages based on Authentication the user should navigate to that particular home page. Is it possible with DotNetNuke...

One way of doing this is to use security roles to determine which modules on the single home page are visible to users.  For instance, unauthenticated users would see one set of modules, while registered users would see another.

Another approach would actually create two separate tabs.  You could use a module like Datasprings' Dynamic Login module to redirect the user after login.

Thanks Jospeh,

Actually its not related to authenticated user .

Actually there are 2 divisions in my project one is AF & another is BF. So I need to develop a portal for these 2 divisions in a single portal.

when i login into the account,  AF person should navigate to AF home page & BF person should naviate to BF home page where some of the modules would be same in both the divisions.

Can u briefly explain, what exactly i should do. Right now i will try to do it by using Datasprings' Dynamic Login module

You could still do it like suggested. One homepage with modules setup for only group AF. One the same page modules setup only for group BF. Modules that are for both set them viewable for both groups.

Ok Mike its fine.we can divide these pages and distribute the modues, but how can i authenticate that a particular person should navigate to AF page or BF Page.

Is there any module for such type of authentication or else do I need to have some coding part.
