DNN: 4.08
Blog Module: 3.05.01

Can't seem to get the blog comments to work at all.  No error message. When I attempt to add a comment, everything seems OK, but when I click on "Add Comment", nothing happens. I don't even see the entry in the Blog_Comments table.

Allow Comments is on (both for the blog and the entry)
Allow Annonymous Comments is on
All other related settings are off (approvals required, CAPTCHA, trackback, etc.)

Hi Joel,

do you see any exception being logged into the event viewer? If not, the issue may be related to the stored procedure missing from the database. In this case a re-install should fix the issue.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

Thanks Dario.

Nothing in event viewer.  Deleted and reinstalled module.  Still can't get comments to work.  I had downloaded the source version.  I am going to try again with the install version.

Hi Joel,

the install package is intended for development purposes. You shouldn't really downloaded/use it unless you need to edit the code and recompile. My understanding is that you are missing the stored procedures that insert the comments into the database table. You can try to re-execute the 03.05.01 sqldataprovider that you find in the install package (or re-install the module as well).

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

I have reinstalled the module 3 times.  Still can't get the comments to work.  All stored procs seem to be in place:
