Hey guys,

New to DNN and can't figure out how to do this. I am trying to add a new parent item to the main menu. Just like the admin link, which will display other links under it. I have only been able to figure out how to do this by adding a new page, but I dont want it to be a page- I want it to be the parent to other links. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Tim

Cool. Thanks much for the quick response. I installed this last night and have been playing with this tool this evening. What a slick application. Any good books or other links to get help and share customizations? Is it pretty easy to use the forum in DNN? How would I go about adding this to my DNN site?

Tim

There are several books, one from the core team, that dives deep into the interior of DotNetNuke. To add the DNN forum download it from the project page http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=820, and upload it as any other custom module. There is also a manual available. you should install Gallery as well, as Forum uses it for avatars etc.

One other tip: there is an update for UserDefinedTable at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=877, that introduces significant improvements.
