Is it possible to run DNN without JavaScript and postbacks? Right now when our employees are surfing our intranet which is realized with DNN they sometimes cannot use the browsers back button as this will cause a message asking if they want to send the postback again (which confuses 95% of our users as they do not know what that means and think of an error and so ask what is wrong with our intranet). Furthermore, some pages are not friendly for bookmarks as all the links are realized as JavaScript links.

I tried to disable JavaScript locally for testing  - this will cause Solpartmenu to disappear.

dnn will most probably run without javascript, since there are numerous parts of the application that requires it (clientAPI, AJAX, Postbacks)

you could try using partial rendering with the modules you are using, however, not all modules support it (partial rendering is a setting you can apply in module definitions
