Has someone already tried to put a flash application (swf, xml, .. files) into dotnetnuke?  We must have an entrypoint in the animation to a DNN method.

should not be very hard to do that. You can have a dnn module create the xml you need ( you might need to create a custom module for that though). You might check UDT / form and List module, as it is capable of exposing its content as xml

ok for the xml, but is there a way to interact the udt with the flash module?

i dont understand your question. Why would the UDT need to interact with anything? It would just provide data. Mind you: thats a one way road (read only). If you want to update data too, you will need to write your own module. Presumably you would use something like a webservice to make it work

My question is related to this thread:

First off I am new to dnn and web stuff. I want to add an application where the user interactively designs a security system (similar to ikea closet designer) . I beleive the ikea application was done in Flash. What is the best language to program such an application for it to be accessible to a user in a dnn environment? If flash is the best choice - where do I find out more to understand how to direct perspective programmers in such a project?
