Is it possible to put modules in the skins so a page can be made just by adding content to the modules already on the page?

I am thinking specifically of putting a number of text/html modules into a skin with appropriate heading so that the person creating the page just sets the skin and then fills in the text/html in the various modules already on the page.

Is this possible? If so how?

Thanks,

you can not have modules placed in your skin.htm, however you can create a page and add your necessary modules with necessary contnet then hide your page.

Every time you create a new page you can use copy page functions in the page functions/add/copy page and copy content.

So the new page will have the necessary content in it

You may also want to set your site up with the modules you are talking about and then export it to a template.

Then if someone uses your template they will have a site with the modules already added.

I tried this out. The first time I used the template in the site where I created it and it brought the modules and content as expected. When I tried to take it to a new portal, it brought the pages but no content. The content is in the template file. I can see it. but it for some reason refused to import.
