Thanks,

Everything is working fine in my local computer and this is the second version of the development site.the second version of my website from dev to production is not working properly in remote. The first version of my website from development to production was working fine.

Now the site is extremely slow and could not identify the error.

What i did......

* I just uploaded all the files and folders from the local folder to remote "httpdocs" through FTP,that time I gave permission to overwrite the existing files in the appropriate folder. After completion,i checked size of both local and remote and that too same.

*Problem might be here, database.I made a backup of the current database and uploaded via cpanel-mylittleadmin-backup restore(web hosting) option. The memory of existing database in host is 7mb and the current database is 13mb in local,i checked the database size ,it is 20mb after uploading and restored in remote host,so by default it has not been overwritten the old backup file exist in the host but added with the existing.I tried with different backup name but no use.

if it is very slow, it might depend either on the machine (or granted resources), on web server configuration or problems in the database. are your latest local content changes visible in the remote site? in this case the database has been transferred correctly. you should check sizes of EventLog, SiteLog and ScheduleHistory table with your database tool, those tables can be truncated (cleared) without affecting the content. Check the eventlog (in Admin menu) for issues reported, maybe there is a problem with a scheduled job. Consider to tweak performance settings (in Host Settings: use Heavy Caching and Zip Compression, but not whitespace filter) and caching of static modules (which present same content for ALL users, set cache time to 1200 s in Module settings).

HTH
