I have tryed this method:

2. You can pass values by querysting for example. If the target UDT has a moduleId of for example 67, the value of querystring named udt_67_param_NameOfParameter will be passed into the  UDT XSL script as param_NameOfParameter. Does this help?

Founded in this post

But doesen't work. I have tryed with Default Grid Table and with User Defined XSL Transformation but never change
I need to add something to my XLS?

Can you help me?

Thanks rmartin

rmartin,

What are you trying to solve, what are you expecting?

These querystring parameters do only work inside XSL, and these parameters MUST be declared inside XSL first, and then the script MUST  do something with the parameters. This is the responsibility of the script author. It can not work in  Default Grid Table.

behind two example that i try to implemet for modify my query, but they incredibly doesent work!!!
I have putted the currentData variable Global but never change?!?

 <xsl:template match="/udt:UserDefinedTable">
.......
<xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="1 = 1">
      <xsl:variable name="currentData" select="udt:Data[contains(*[name()=$searchColumns][1],$search) ]" />
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:when test="1 != 1">
      <xsl:variable name="currentData" select="udt:Data[r contains(*[name()=$searchColumns][2],$search)]" />
    </xsl:when>
  </xsl:choose>

 <xsl:if test="1 = 1">
      <xsl:variable name="currentData" select="udt:Data[contains(*[name()=$searchColumns][1],$search) or contains(*[name()=$searchColumns][2],$search)]" />
    </xsl:if>

I have all the same error:
XSL Tranformation failed. Switched back to Default Grid Table

Is there one example for change the query in function of the parameters?

  1. The detailed error message should be logged insite the event viewer.
  2. Test your scripts offline
